This year we are hosting a T-Shirt competition
We are really excited to be able to bring a tshirt competition to Global Conference for #SGGlobal in Feb 2019!
The winner of the 2019 T-shirt competition goes to: Afram Christian, a new SGu director from the Catholic University College of Ghana!!!
The first 150 people at Global will receive his winning t-shirt!
He designed the “Super Star” t-shirt which received the most votes and will be hopefully joining us for the Europe Conference in June to celebrate. Please be sure to congratulate him on Slack and Facebook!
Thank you, Afram - we love it!

Designers Notes: This design is called Ajrak, a unique form of block-printed shawls and tiles found in Sindh, Pakistan. These shawls display special designs and patterns made using block printing by stamps. Over the years, ajraks have become a symbol of the Sindhi culture and traditions.
Designers Notes: The panda represents the city this design is coming from: Chengdu. Chengdu is the natural hometown of pandas :-). It is inspired by the movie and logo of Jurassic Park.
Designers Notes: The design is inspired by the movie Ready Player One.
Designers Notes: Design is inspired by The Simpsons.
Designers Notes: Design was created in China for the Female Founders month Startup Grind hosted in May 2018.
Designers Notes: I'm big fan of Rick and Morty and i'm sure more people in the community too
Designers Notes: I design it just for fun and to represent every startup that wants to be an unicorn, who doesnt ?
Designers Notes: idea was the DreamWorks logo but with a girl instead of a boy to represent the fact that we're pushing for more diversity,(also a play on 'team work makes the dream work')
Designers Notes: "There was an idea, called Startup Grind. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they could become something more."
Designers Notes: Design is based off the Supreme brand, which became famous for its collaborations with other brands. I feel this collaboration is in line with Startup Grind's values as well
Designers Notes: This is pure nostalgia, resembling the aesthetics of the 70s with the word "Grind" the verb we as entrepreneurs are always conjuring.
Designers Notes: I wanted to make a fashionable garment for SG not only conference worthy. The symbolism behind having our values on the pocket is very powerful because it's stored in our hearts which is the left side of the t-shirt pocket.
Designers Notes: This design is made inspired on team t-shirts, using similar typography with the script look and with the date when SG was born and our mission with our audience. All of that is saying that all are part of same team sharing the same objectives.
Designers Notes: This t-shirt represents our values - Make Friends
Designers Notes: This t-shirt represents our values - Help Others
Designers Notes: This t-shirt represents our values - Give First

Designers Notes: He will join us or die, Master!
